09.01.2012 Duty-free Exports until 2015
The European Commission (EC) has decided to renew its trade preferences for the Western Balkans until 2015. Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia, Croatia and Macedonia will benefit from unlimited duty-free access to EU markets for almost all products originating from Eastern Europe. Although trade preferences expired in December 2010 the exporters fropm western Balkan countries will be able to seek compensation for the customs fees paid in 2011.
